went on a thursday for dinner and it wasn't crowded. they have some indoor and outdoor seating. order at the counter and seat yourself, they also have a water station. don't forget to check in for the 10% discount before ordering, and they have complimentary aqua fresca on purchases over $15 on mondays - complimentary chips+salsa! the chips were good and lightly dusted in a powder that hits you in the back of the throat, but it's a light spice. - mar y tierra burrito (4/5): this was good! a little smaller than expected, but filling since the guacamole, sauce, and steak made it kind of heavy. they were generous with the guac and the steak had a nice charred flavor to it. the sauce was creamy and buttery and although there was less shrimp than steak, it was well seasoned. overall a pretty good burrito, although pricey overall, a little pricey and not traditional (if that's what you're looking for), but the food was good! i'd come back again

Some seriously delicious tacos in Sawtelle. Actually everything we ate was better than we were expecting and we already want to go back to try more items. It's more of a to go type of place but they do have seating inside as well. They have a fairly large menu but what makes them stand out is that they have premium ingredients like filet mignon for tacos, burritos, or bowls. There is a parking lot in the back that is for pay but otherwise street parking is easy to find in this area. It is a bit expensive for Mexican food, but they do have some great flavors. We placed our order to go and it was only about a 10 minute wait for all of our items so the service was very fast for us. We wanted to try a few different items since it was our first time. We chose the Filet Mignon Burrito, which was probably my favorite because the meat was cooked perfectly and it was absolutely filled with avocado, which is one of my absolute favorite things to eat. We also ordered the Steak and Shrimp Taco which was very good and the Salmon Taco which was also light and tasty. Finally, we ordered the Asada Fries and really enjoyed them because they don't skimp on the toppings. The portion sizes are not very large in comparison to some other places, but they certainly are not small. Overall a really delicious spot, I would not say it's the most authentic, but still worth trying because it really is very good.

One of our favorite spots for lunch on Sawtelle. Great variety of options to choose from. Their portions are hefty and their ingredients are really fresh. Great service, and a cute little spot tucked in a row of restaurants between a dessert place and a bakery. Street parking available if you're lucky, but there's free 2-hr parking around the corner.
